Well Hidey has not had any insulin since March 17th, but his numbers were still a bit high for me to feel comfortable saying he was OTJ. He had his dental, and since that along with mini meals every few hours his numbers have been really good. His auto feeder came in yesterday so we started using that last night. His highest numbers have been first thing in the morning since he would go several hours without eating, so this will correct it. I can tell the difference when he eats mid-night because if I wake up at say 1 or 2 a.m. his numbers would be below 100.
A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE on this crazy journey.
I'm still testing at least twice a day daily, but after about a week with the auto feeder if his numbers stay below 100 Ill start cutting him back.
