Help! What kind of insulin storage unit can I buy that has the following:
EXACT temperature control
Not influenced by how hot or cold the ambient temperature is
Preferably a digital temp reader on the outside
NOT a travel unit
But doesn't take up a lot of room
For long-term storage, not just to cool the insulin for a short time
Plugs into the wall, backup battery in case of power outage
Reliable, reliable, reliable!
Reasonably priced

I just lost my eighth vial of insulin due to wonky refrigerators freezing it! One was even a mini fridge highly recommended for insulin storage. And I'm not sure how many other vials might have been slightly corrupted since insulin that's been frozen and then thawed doesn't give any indicators it's bad!
And you wonder why I have to keep adjusting poor Jhandi's dosages?
Vets and pharmacists alike haven't been helpful when I've asked for recommendations.
Every time I look online I get overwhelmed by tons of options, but can't seem to find what I really want. I'm tired of searching, but can't be buying new insulin this often! I got a reputation now at the Costco pharmacy for freezing Jhandi's insulin so frequently!
What's a reliable way to store my insulin and forget about it till I need the next vial???
