I entered data this morning, and the BG values did not change color. Now, I know that's not the end of the world, but it is annoying. Love that visual!
I signed out of my google account and signed back in, and tried plugging in values in another column (#106), and the cells still stay "plain".
Is there something I should do on my end, or is it a google issue that resolves itself?

Also, I'm sure I read how to change the URL from that long name to a short name, I can't find those directions. If someone could point me there, that would be great.
Thank you!

Try copying the formatting from the last line that showed colors, then paste (paste special - conditional formatting) to the rows that aren't showing colors. Worked for me. :smile:

Good luck,
Kathie

To shorten that URL, copy the URL then go to:

http://www.tinyurl.com

Follow directions, it will give you a short URL to use instead. Since our signature blocks count URL characters also, this allows more to be put in a signature...

BIG HUG!! I agree, the visuals are wonderful!

You can use the Tinyurl.com web site as Squeaky and KT suggested or just do this:

Code:
[url=https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Am7SWXvA7X3hdFd0cnNURlRuZXEzc3ZVVGppcHZLSkE#gid=0]Lucy's SS[/url]

Lucy's SS

You can do this with any URL to make it into a clickable text link :smile:
