There's not a great deal of difference between the insulin other than the onset and nadir with Lev is later than with Lantus. We typically suggest reducing the dose a small amount (give about 1/3 less Lev when switching) since some cats have a marked response to the switch in insulin. Follow the same dosing strategy as you would with Lantus and you can post on the Lantus/Lev/Biosimilar board.

Levemir tends to give a flatter curve than glargine and does not sting@high doses.
