-i buy this for extra taurine since i cook meat and cut down on tcfeline

-i pretty much followed this cooking instruction to cook 2.5lbs of meat at time;
http://tcfeline.com/cooked-meat/. later i would make 5lbs in large slow cooker.
-i than use the cooled excess fluid to mix half the recommended tcfeline supplement (my cats did NOT like the taste when i used full amount). unlike in instruction, there will be fluids left when meat is done cooking enough, if you cook till there is none, the meat will be overcooked and yuck.. add mix to meat.
-i added 500mg of taurine per 2.5lbs to supplement mix before mixing with meat
-i than added on half the can of S&W or pure pumpkin..thats it, pretty simple.
you can add cooked rice in and so forth for non-diabetic cat or for when you need a bland diet for tummy issues.. i put mix in 4oz mason jars, food freezed best that way to me. each jar i think was 160 calories for the turkey mix and when i used 100% grass fed ground beef it was 230 calories. More calories if i decided to add eggs with tcfeline mix.
