I know it's not related to anything hi dose or diabetic at all....

Yesterday I had to call 911 to take my mom to the hospital - she is in CCU right now. We're still not sure what is going on. Heart attack and pulmonary embolus have been ruled out. Her heart is beating erraticly (sp), having chest pain, and labwork out of whack. WE spent all day at the hospital yesterday and I am heading back there today.

Please if you could spare a thought or two for us - I'd appreciate it. I'm sorry I won't be around much to help anyone.
 
(((((((((Patti)))))))))))))) I know how worried you are (I could hear it in your voice yesterday). I also hope they can figure out what is going on and at least make your mom comfortable.

I kind of wondered when I hadn't heard much from you lately. It's scary business taking care of your dear parents sometimes. Sounds like she's in a safe place. Don't forget to take care of yourself. She's gonna need you strong when she comes home!

Oh Patti, I am sorry that your mom is having trouble with her heart. I sure hope they can figure out what is going on and get her stabilized and on the mend. I will send you all my best wishes and healing thoughts. (((Rose))) and lots of hugs for you and Joe too. (((Patti & Joe)))

Oh Patti I'm so sorry that your Mom is having problems. Our senior's can be so difficult to figure out sometimes . Is there a Geriatrician at your hospital? Sounds like it might not be a bad idea for them to see her if there is. All three of you are in my prayers. Don't forget to try and take care of yourselves too. I know its so hard.
