? I don't understand what to do

Hi
Can someone take a look at his ss and see if you can figure out what is going on? Pinks for SIX days despite a dose increase. Even at +5 tonight he is HIGHER than PMPS. What am I doing wrong? I increased to 1u tonight and still made no difference. What next??

At 0.25 I was seeing the occasional green and sometimes a yellow day or a blue day. But majority is pinks and reds. So increased. Now - nothing but pink!

Unless you see some numbers that warrant a reduction, I would stick with the 1 unit for a week or so, and see how he does. You did go from 0.25 to 1.00 in just 2 increases, rather than the 3 we normally recommend (0.50, 0.75, 1.00). The depot of insulin can take several (6?) cycles to build to the next increased dose.
Thanks for getting the +5 after PMPS. I know that is hard for you. It is a good idea to get any mid-cycle tests you can, like that, after a dose increase. I hope you can continue.

I realized I jumped too much but I ran out of half unit marking syringes and couldn’t figure out a 0.5 so I did 1u and counted that there were three fat drops in it and squeezed one out. I have more half unit ones now so can go up or down in 0.25 degrees. His numbers look awful.
