Yes she ate a little 10% at 5+ and 6+.
I’d rather not see her levels dip lower again like on Friday. and yes I feel like I’m playing a game of yo-yo with her BG *cry*
It's ok! You'll get the hang of it. She shouldn't go nearly as low, that happened because her dose was way too high. Count it as data! Now we'll know how she reacts to HC mid to late cycle

I see the 123, that means the 67 was likely nadir and she would have been on her way up, LC probably would have kept her "surfing" (not going any lower, but also not too high, a gradual pace back up). On the flip side, she's probably more likely to be at a shootable number tonight

Can you start a new post tomorrow, with a link to this one fir reference? It's getting a bit long.

She did have a pretty extended hypo the other day, too.
I don't know why you are calling it a hypo, I see no mention of it being symptomatic anywhere???

She did have an extended period of low numbers, which required extensive intervention, but technically, the term hypo is used to indicate a symptomatic hypoglycemic event, that might occur at 56 for some cats or 20 for others.

My cat tested in the 20's with no symptoms of hypoglycemia, and he did not develop 'insulin sensitivity' following his excursion into the 20's.

What we are seeing with Mimi is a cat that's been started on too high of a dose, and we have still not found the right dose especially with the change to a low carb diet.

The smallest number on my syringe is 1 which I used this morning. Looking at ones online and no idea which ones to get. I called and left message at vet, will see when he calls back. I’m using U40 and it marked from 1-12.
As she dropped below 68 the 1u is too much, I had a feeling she would drop which is why I suggested the +2.
Try shooting the 0.5u by drawing halfway to the 1u line. That will be easier than trying to do 0.75u.

BTW you're doing great, byouve had a baptism of fire!
