Hypo -- BG 44

Scamper had another hypo today after his am dose of 1 U. This time he went down to 29 at +4. Just gave him his pm dose and only gave him 0.75 U. He was 564 ps. We're going to the vet tomorrow (Angell Memorial, not that bonehead from before), so that's some consolation, but I have to say... I'm feeling like a big fat failure :-\

Don't even go there. "Failure" would be doing nothing for Scamper. You're trying damn hard, and not failing. Bright side - and there's always at least one - you now know what a hypo is, and what to do if/when it happens. I might know what to do, but I've never had to put that to a test. Another brite side - tomorrow he's got an appointment with a vet that will be able to help you and Scamper. Nothing about this dance is simple, easy, or even predictable. Just keep moving your feet in time with Scampers music. You aren't alone, but you already know that.

His +2 last night was 463, and +4 was 426. This morning he's at 524 ps. Maybe I missed again? Still, gave him about 1/3 U.
