Hunting for zanzi, how to go from live deer to well balanced diet? Any ideas?

I'm going hunting tomorrow and want to bring back a deer for my diabetic cat. I've done some reading but haven't found any specific recipe to process the deer. Some mention including heart, liver, and bone (but not how much). Also if I make his complete meals from scratch, what other nutrient supplements and/or dietary products do I add to ensure he is getting a well balanced diet. I've read a lot on chicken, turkey, and other recipes would it be safe to use those recipes but substituting venison as the protein?

As well as the 'catinfo' site you could also take a look at the 'felinenutrition' raw food site here :

My guess is that venison is similar to wild rabbit in that it is very lean, so you may need to add some additional fat to it.
I sometimes use minced whole wild rabbit as a base and add things like B vitamins and a little water (to make up for lost blood), omega 3 oils and a little vitamin E (though the eyes and brain may be sufficient), and taurine, because all kinds of meat processing can destroy taurine.
