Wow the difference is amazing. The litter box isn't half filled with we litter every single day. I haven't had to add water to his water fountain in 36 hours and it will probably be at least another 36 before it does need some added. Instead of being really grumpy with my mom kitten he was even playing with him at one point this morning. And what a difference with his eating too. Normally I would put down a 5 oz can and he would eat it as fast as he could and then beg for more. This morning he ate about half of it and walked away, he came back a few minutes later but he didn't feel he had to eat it all at once. And then when I fed him a 3 oz can, slightly watered down, a couple hours later he ate about half of it and then said it was enough.

Yeah Cuddles! Thank you so much for showing your momma/papabean how much she/he is helping you out with your direbetes. Keep up the good work and we'll be cheering you on! :RAHCAT

Did you just start your cat on insulin? How long has your cat been diagnosed? I am very new to this, any advice for a cat owner whose cat will be starting insulin very soon?
I'm glad to hear about your cat! Keep up the good work. I hope to be in your position soon!

I just found out on 11/27 for certain so he has only just started. The best advise I think I can give is to relax and be calm. Your kitty will be able to tell how nervous you are. Also make sure you test before EVERY shot. Just yesterday he had a 116 in the morning when it was time for his shot and if I had given him any insulin then he might have gone hypo, something I really hope I never experience but have the stuff ready for. And the best advice hands down is if you need to know something, even something small ask here. Everyone is so helpful and has been where you are before.
