? How to train boyfriend to do testing??

I need advise on how to get James more comfortable with testing Magellan. He has tried the singing thing and it did not work in fact Magellan's reactions to his singing gave Jim a complex! What is it with so many men it seems they have no concept or understanding of the "it has to be done" head space or attitude? He does not seem to have issues with injecting the insulin just the testing. I have sat with the man and he seems hopeless!

Make James "The King of the Treats"....Only he gives treats and at other times than just test times...Make Magellan get to the point where "All good things in my life come from The Treat King"

Maybe Magellan will take pity on him since he's such a good guy and give him a break at test time
