How to make kitty feel full? - not a regulation issue

My crew of three lately are hungry *all* the time. Oscar has just always been this way, and he is still on insulin. Yoda is on the new stomatitis cocktail and finally has no mouth inflammation, so his energy is now through the roof! He is always jumping on the counters and getting into things and bringing the other two cats into it too. Now everyone is joining in. I feel like I have to cat proof the house now. A few days ago he chewed through the pill pocket package while I was gone. We have had a package of pill pockets on the counter (for the dogs) ever since we have had him (almost a year now) and have never had this issue before. Stuff like this keeps happening.

I make their food from Dr. Lisa's recipe. They get 5-6 mini meals each day and are maintaining a healthy weight. I don't want to give them more food because I feel it will just make them fat. I already add extra water to the recipe, but when ever I put the food down, it is gone within 20 seconds and they start meowing for more.

Is there something I can add to their food that would make them feel more full? Would adding a fiber supplement help? What and how much?

Any info is much appreciated!

Do not add a 'filler'...which is fiber, and cats are not designed for a high fiber diet.

Have you tried adding water ? Make cat-food soup .

They can always benefit from water, and just like humans on a diet, a glass
of water before a meal helps one feel fuller sooner.

Yes, I already add water to their food. This morning I started adding even *more* water to their food. We'll see how it goes. I can't add any more water than what I am doing today - otherwise it will be just too soupy and they won't eat it.

what do you with the bones and parts you don't use? do you boil it into a broth or stock for incorporation into the raw? Do you have any of this available? You could put a bowl of that down and see if they drink it.

You may want to increase the amount of raw they are getting or supplement with canned food or some other food. I've tried prowl - which is a just add water product - my one civvie loves it - yes it has veggies and fruit in it. so you may not want to give it to the diabetic, but it's an idea.

Or maybe fresh chicken to give them.

The only stuff I don't include is the skin. The bones get ground up with the meat. I am not sure the solution is to feed more since they are maintaining a healthy weight right now. They have been on the raw diet since January. I don't feed canned food since I cannot afford it. I can actually make their raw diet for less than the cheap canned food as long as I hit the sales at the grocery store at the right time.

This is a new development since Yoda no longer has the stomatitis inflammation. So far adding the extra water to the bowl but not completely mixing it in with the food has worked. Yoda only jumped on the counter once so far today
