I think it's fine to use in regards to carbs, but Dr. Lisa suggests using fish oil from other sources than salmon because fish that are lower on the food chain have less pollutants in them.

I was guided to use the Nordic Naturals Omega 3 instead.

I didn't think there were carbs in it that's why I ordered it. It's just odd though that the past few days I've given it to Hidey his numbers seem to be a bit higher. Odd coincidence I guess.
