How may days should I give Mirtazapine (Mirataz, appetite stimulant) if he is eating again?

Kitty was diagnosed with pancreatitis a week ago. He has been given fluids, Mirataz & nausea meds daily for a week. He is enthusiastically eating again. I stopped the nausea meds yesterday. Do I need to keep giving more appetite stimulant?

The vet did not give me a timeline. The medication website says to give for 14 days. I know that animals do develop tolerance to it if they get it too much, though. Anyone have experience with this?
 
When Corky was prescribed Mirataz, it is for 5-7 days, save the rest if you were to need it in the future, I still use it now and then ;)
