I'm still trying to figure this out....I stopped giving my kitty insulin on 2/27 when I started home monitoring. I've been sporadically checking her bg in the evening. But tonight is the first time I've checked this late and it's a 58. Now I'm wondering if she has been getting lower in the middle of the night. Can someone look at my spreadsheet and give me some advice? The top colored lines are pre-home monitoring. Thanks

So far she's looking great!!

I'd try to get at least 2 tests per day in....one in the morning and one 12 hours later in the evening.....as long as she's below 120, that's the only tests you need

If she happens to have a higher test, feed her and test again about 3 hours later....if the number comes down, her pancreas is doing the work!

Oooh okay!
This makes sense...

I'm finally getting the hang of checking her blood. It's definitely easier in the evening when we're both relaxed. But I'll try in the morning.
Just to clarify.. it should be before she eats, right?

Yes...preferably when she hasn't had anything to eat for at least 2 hours so you get a "true" reading without the influence of food
