I am posting this again in this board for those of you with ProZinc experience...Please note this is not our preference to go without giving her her medicine, but she isn't giving us a choice
After this past weekend of Cali being uncooperative with the pet sitter giving her her insulin shots, they have refused to try to do so again in the future. We had a hard enough time finding someone who would do this for us in the first place and we know that no matter who it is, if it isn't my husband or I, Cali won't cooperate.
I don't know what to do now. We are going away for Christmas and cannot take her with us. We can have them give her food, but not shots. That would mean she would go 3-4 days without her insulin. Boarding her is also not an option--she doesn't do well in situations like that and would be so stressed her numbers would be off the charts.
Any suggestions or words of encouragement in this situation???
