How long do you typically find your bottle of Prozinc insulin is effective, once punctured?

We've had ours for about 8 weeks and kept it refrigerated the whole time and ensure we just gently roll it before shot time. We've just started home testing (and aren't getting consistent tests in yet), but I'm hopeful that we'll see when it starts to lose effectiveness. Kitty is still bouncing a bit so right now there are too many variables and too few tests to really know what causes what at the moment. But we have over half a bottle still so I'm hopeful that it will keep working for a while yet.

I thought it would be good to see what others have experienced with their Prozinc effectiveness.

I always got a good three months out of mine before I felt that I started to see a difference. I have seen some people say they use it even longer, but I never got more than a solid three months out of a vial before it became suspect.
