How important is 'timing'?

My schedule is sort of erratic, and, living alone right now I'm worried about managing insulin+feeding times.

How important is it to get on a regular routine of when to feed and when to give insulin?

Does anyone else feed + give insulin at various times ie: 6am+6pm one day and 9am+9pm the next day?

Am I talking crazy?

I know of one other person off the top of my head that has a variable schedule due to her job. She posts on the Levemir ISG, user name is "Peggy and Mickey"

It's best to try to stick to 12/12 if you are going to use Levemir/Lantus, but for now, go to your vet appointment, get the bloodwork and if we need to cross that bridge, we will. Try not to worry yourself too much, you're doing a fantastic job already.
