How do you find if a treat is ok if it doesn’t list carbs?

My Juggie LOVES his Inaba Churo treats so much. They are a highly regarded Japanese company & We first bought them when in Japan years ago but since then they have hit the North American market and they are his #1 treat.
Since his diagnosis we have not given him any because we just don’t know where they sit on good or not good for sugarcats

I have emailed the company today to request the typical nutrient analysis but was wondering if one can calculate the carbs when it’s not given. Even though I’ve moved his treats to a closet he still cry’s for them :(

According to chewy.com, they would be considered low carb. https://www.chewy.com/app/product-question/1832924
I never used them. Let's see what others have to say about them. Or put just a tiny amount on freeze-dried treats.

You can find them in the pet store. Orijen is one such brand. They should have only 1 ingredient listed – chicken or salmon or shrimp or ….
The chunks in the for dogs packs are bigger but cheaper in the long run. The chunks are easily breakable.

They have tapioca which I’m not sure if that raises blood glucose or not. If they do turn out to be higher in carbs than you’d prefer, Tiki Cat has a similar product called Tiki Cat Stix :cat:

Thank you for the link!! We have tried other similar treats like the orijen ones but he only loves inaba churu tubes, well the whole inaba line minus the churu bites. I was very happy when they started being sold in North America, before that I was getting friend to ship from Japan lol

China LOVED them....and they didn't cause any problem in her blood glucose levels.
awesome!! I know Juggie will be so happy if he can have his favourite treats again

thanks. I’ll continue searching google and hopefully I can get their analysis because we’ve tried other tubes and stews and Juggie just doesn’t love them like inaba products. We jokingly call them crack tubes because he goes wild for them
