Just saw post where it was mentioned about sugar difference in yogurts. Then mentioned dry kibble can raise levels.
So how bad is 2% milk. How much could that raise levels. Didn't even think and Milo has no more than 3 tbsp of milk/day. Which now that I really think is a lot.
Any safe alternative?

The offending ingredient, lactose, is broken down in Lactaid and CatSip products.
As a treat, limited amounts may be OK; you'll just want to see how it impacts Milo's numbers by testing about 30 minutes after feeding some.

The dose makes the poison - 11% of 1-2 teaspoons isn't likely to have much impact, particularly if followed by low carb, high protein food to "dilute" it.

During Dusty's first few days on Lantus he had a bad constipation episode and I gave him some 2% milk to soften his stool. It worked to get him unplugged and I didn't see any spikes in his blood glucose levels.
