Donna,
I hope everything works out with the sitter, and you are able to take a trip to the water. For my entire adult life, the ocean has always felt like my "sanctuary". No matter how bad things went, I always felt recharged by a trip to the beach. Especially "off season", when you have a mile of sand all to yourself, and nothing but the sound of birds and waves. For the past 6 years, I've been truly blessed to live 500 yards from the beachfront, and about 500 yards the other direction from the marsh, so I can see the sunrise or sunset, or the moonrise which is even more amazing to me, by walking a few minutes up or down the road.
Tonight, right after eating dinner, I was driving my truck back to the campground for the last couple hours of my shift, and I looked towards the marsh, and saw that! I just had to pull the truck off the side of the road and take a photo (I might hate the micro-keyboard, but I love my smartphone's camera!). And as soon as I looked at the pic, I knew I had to share it! Ten minutes later, the effect was gone, and it was just a darkening night sky, so it's all a matter of being in the right place, right time, and taking the time to look...
Glad you all liked it!
Carl
