I've learned from reading other condos that on the board here is said: anti-jinx, anti-jinx, anti-jinx....

So, anti-jinx, anti-jinx, anti-jinx

In my signature you will see lots of meds listed.....

Last night was the first night with no meds.

From this:

Meds: | Lantus | Buprenex | Clavamox | Clindamycin | Cerenia | Dexamethasone | Doxycycline | Fortify | Gentamicin (nebulized w/ saline) | Sub-Q fluids | Zeniquin

To this:
Male |14 years old |indoor only
Diabetic information: OTJ trial (day 5)
AlphaTRAK 2 meter
Food: FF classics, Stella & Chewy's Pheasant, 2 Solid Gold Indigo Moon crunches for his happiness |self feeds
Outlying Factors: food allergies
Meds: off the meds trial

Anti-jinx, anti-jinx, anti-jinx

Thank you to all that helped us get to this point. I appreciate it more that I could ever put into words. My wish for him (and myself) is for him to be happy, be healthy and know he is loved.

:)
Anti Jinx.

Paws crossed Apple makes it to the falls.
And when he does, remember he is still diabetic, just diet controlled, so keep up the Low carb food and monitor his BG on a regular basis, HC food, infection or inflammation can knock them out of remission.

Well, it was a wonderful respite while it lasted.

He looked a little down yesterday, nasal discharge and a sneeze here and there.

His pmbg was 225. Didn't know what dose (Lantus) to do so he got a drop.

Was hoping for wonderful things this am. He's more active, ambg is 193. Not sure if we are back to square one or not. Unsure if he'll have to go back on his antibiotics.

Edit to add: the big drink last night helped me decide *not* to wait to see if he could bring it down on his own.

Edit 2: He still is feeding himself. Evertime he eats, it just makes me from and smile from inside.
