? Home from vacation. Raise dose how much?

We are back from vacation. Chuck's shot is due in an hour. I'm wondering if we should go back up to 17 right away or do 16.5 units for 3 shots then go up?
He surprised me with some blues.
 
Welcome home, I hope Chuck was happy to see you and you had a good time. I would go back to the last good dose, or 17u, provided you can monitor. Just in case there is a reaction to the increase.
 
We can monitor. He seems like he doesn't feel good. He had some young again this week. Not sure how much but probably enough to irritate his belly. I'll see how much he's eating and decide if I should give him 17.
 
He ate normally and I looked at his supplements. He didn't get his B12 every night and didn't get his glucosamine/chondroitin at all. This could explain his stiff/slow moving.
I gave him the full 17 units and dh will monitor.
 
Still can't catch a urine sample. I swear he knows what I'm doing. Driving me nuts. I'm going to give him an extra tbs of water with dinner and stalk him until I see him pee. Exciting evening plans! LOL
We are going to be giving his shots an hour early until we get to 3am and 3pm or 2am and 2pm.
I was thinking about giving him the shot an hour early tonight then give it a half hour early each cycle until we reach our goal.
If we give the shot an hour early, should we decrease to 16.5? I haven't updated the SS but will soon. He has been very high yellows, pinks and red.
 
Waiting for the SS to update before I comment. If he's high enough, you can shoot an hour early, but I wouldn't do a series of those. The rule of thumb is 1/2 hour once a day, or 15 minutes a cycle.
 
Updated SS. Not many tests since we are trying to get things back in order after vacation.
Blue +11. Think we will do 15 mins early each cycle unless he's higher then we will try 30 mins.
Sticking with 17 units.
 
So much for NDW.:cool: Surf safe Chuck. Good call on holding off more of a early shot time. I was going to suggest upper pinks or reds as when you could try it.
 
I thought he had a bit of glucose toxicity going on but I think I was just too impatient waiting for the Depot to fill back up.
