I just thought I would let everyone know that the carb content is low on the Holistic Select. It is not on our food list, but when they updated Tanyas food list for CKD it was on there so I looked into it. I emailed the company and the carb % are right (dry matter) and they are lower phos.

I ordered some for my cats because they are currently getting Merrick and I have been very unhappy with the quality lately. Honestly it smells like spam lol, but my cats love it. Theres not many reviews because they recently made their food grain free but I just thought I would let every one know theres another brand out there. Here is the info the company sent me....

I just checked this out on chewy.com( I find them to be a very good site with excellent customer service) and you can get 24 -5.5 oz cans (case) for 38.99 about 1.64 per can.I think if you spend 49 dollars , it is free 2 day shipping.I never receive dented cans. I have been ordering Merrick when they have a sale.I have heard good things about Holistic Selects and plan to order them next. Thanks for the info.Great job!

LOL Yup, chewy.com is where I get all their food, treats, and litter :-D

There customer service is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! Shhhhhhhh! Dont tell them but even if they didnt have the best prices I'd still buy all my stuff from them because of their customer service. They have the BEST prices for the Halo freeze dried chicken, along with Dr Elsy's litter. I found an even better deal on the food though. 12-13 oz cans for $31.99. feed my cats 3 cans a day, so I just use 1/2 can each put a lid on it and stick it in the fridge ;-)

I was getting so frustrated though because I've had so many bad cases of Merrick, and then lately the ones that weren't BAD had a lot of fat pieces or HARD black pieces. The Holistic select do have blackish pieces in it, but they are soft and I'm almost positive it is the blueberry powder. Its not like it was just chewy though, I got some cans from Petco and they were just as bad (got coupons from MErrick for free cans since I had BAD cans)

Yes those large cans can save money!I feed 6 cats at least 6 - 5.5oz.cans per day, 2 are outdoor and get some dry. What do you think of Halo, and Natures Variety Instinct ( grain free of course)?IReally want to start ordering the larger cans, what with the one being diabetic and two needing dental work and another having all the classic signs of diabetes...have to cut down some of the costs!
