I need to know if the Freshpet select Moisture Rich Tender bites are high in CARBS to give Corky and Coco as a treat
DESCRIPTION

Natural US farm raised chicken/No grains, glutens soy or fillers
crude protein 17.0%
crude fat 10.0%
crude fiber 2.0%
moisture 65.0%
taurine 0.05%

I looked up taurine and the benefit, side effect and uses are:
it has a antioxidant properties, may enhance insulin sensitivity, thereby reducing the risk of type 2 diabetes or improving blood sugar management in those with the condition
Advise needed before using

Taurine is definitely an amino acid that cats must eat to maintain health. I am not sure about the carbs in that specific food. Can you find it on the chart?

I give my cats fresh pet bites too but was feeding them as a meal but they seem to like it better as treats. Thanks for the info on this forum.

I kept looking for a safe treat for them since last year the members said to quit they have grown up with Temptation treats and MeauMix hard food, Corky that’s diabetic since last June will be 11 on July 18 and Coco will be 4 on April 29, so the food changing to wet wasn’t much trouble I transitioned them quite quickly, but the treats was very hard, and I was at Publix a couple of days by the pet isle, I always stop at the cooler and looked at the food they had but never for cats, and then I saw them before opening the pkg I posted like you every detail on ingredients and waited response. It was great news and my babies just loves the I bought the chicken, and actually we both benefited from the post:bighug::cat::cat:
