Hi. This is my introduction. I hope I'm posting it in the right place. If not, can someone please assist? Tango is my first and only cat. He is 12 years old and I have had him since he was a 5 month old kitten. Last March, I noticed that he was having what looked like some minor skin allergies, and was scratching his ears and face. I unfortunately made a bad choice in taking him to a vet that said that a steroid is the only treatment for allergies. That unfortunately triggered diabetes. He was diagnosed July 1, 2019 and I am just getting him started on Lantus, .5 units, twice a day. I free feed him thoughout the day. Mostly Fancy Feast, Pro Plan True Nature, and Tuna. and I give him Young again kibble for treats. His numbers are usually in the low to mid 300's. I have the spreadsheet but am unsure as to how to complete it. Can anyone assist? Thank you so much.
