Hi I'm new to the board. Actually i have read the board for quite a while since Inky ( my little boy) has been diagnosed with diabetes ( ~ 6 weeks ago , just one day after my birthday , such a news to get during the birthday T.T ). The board is really helpful and help me a lot to deal with his diabetes. Since he get lantus Inky is getting better. Still i have problem adjusting his dose. I guess one thing is because i really can't control his food. He is having k/d ( canned and dry , mostly canned though ) with my other cats >.<
And second thing is that I have problem filling the syringe to the right amount. I couldn't find half unit mark syringe anywhere in Thailand. 0.5 insulin syringe is only thing we have here. So i really have a problem when i have to adjust the dose with just 0.25 unit. Everytime i did it , i just guessed , i have no idea that i really increase or decrease the dose for 0.25 U T.T Anyone have any suggestion how to do it with 0.5 cc syringe that have only 1 unit marker. Plz help >.< thank you so much.
