Hi there! Boy have I been busy but wanted to say hi! Been working like crazy (my weekday job) and I am trying to start my own business so I've been busy busy busy. Abigail is doing well. She is my little stinker. Last night she was down in the 90s- so no shot. Then after a few hours back in the 200s. This morning it was 286. I couldn't get away to test her but I will when I get home today. She was being a pill this morning and wouldn't eat her food so I isolated her in my bedroom. One of my civies is a fatty and will eat EVERYTHING in sight! For whatever reason Abigail s food is like the best thing ever to her. SO I have to keep Abigail's food away from Miss Kitty because I don't need her gaining any more weight. I actually think she has lost weight due to the only wet food diet she is on now. Her collar is a little looser!

Wow I guess you are busy!!!! Good luck on the new business!!! Whatcha starting?

Oh do I know about those piggy civies...lol I have two that have to be crated at meal-time because they think they are on a seafood diet, if they see food they eat it. And I think it is an unwritten rule of cats that food always tastes better off someone else's plate.

If Mz Abigail keeps giving you an unshootable number at preshot you may want to reduce her dose a little bit, maybe knock it down by .25u. When you get a moment to breathe and have a day off if you could run a curve on her it would help alot to figure out if she truly needs a dose reduction or if you just need to invest in a pair of BOS and start shooting low to stay low.

I used to have that problem with one of mine - fortunately he couldn't jump as well as the others, so I used to put their food up high where he couldn't get to it....and I figured if he did lose enough weight to be able to get up that high - it was good exercise for him :). He wasn't named Pumpkin just because of his color.

I am making jewlery, French memo boards, light switch plates, home accessories lol . So I've been doing a lot of festivals and working to get enough to sell at the festivals. I also refinish furniture too. My mom and I hope to have our own store one day. But I am going to be home this weekend so I will try a curve throughout the day.

On another note I have now a confirmed second diabetic kitty. Azrael is on a super low dose because his sugar is not scary high. In fact it came down a lot after he switched food. I have a new vet at the facility where I go and she is really impressed. I free caught his urine so they could test it. I'm doing home blood glucose tests. She said people really don't do that. I told her once you learn a little it's amazing what you can do. I am trying to do it mainly to save money. It was $50 just for them to get the urinalysis. I didn't even have to take him in!

I'd like to talk to you about the refinishing furniture part.... I'll send you a PM when I get a chance....

Of course! You can PM me any time. I do a little more "artistic" type thing. For example. One of the tables I scored was this sad looking table but with a cool kidney bean shape. It is laminate so you can't strip it and restain. So what I am doing is decoupaging wine labels on the entire thing. Then making the top out of used wine cork. Then on the bottom shelf I found a great wine rack which I am attaching. So there will be a shelf holding the wine and then I am attaching a wine glass holder to the underside of the top shelf. It will look awesome.
