It's been over 6 years since Salem was diagnosed with diabetes. He's approaching his 17th Birthday in May. I feel blessed everyday he is with me. A lot of what kept me going in the beginning was blickyspage. It helped me as I starting treating Salem and figuring out the next step. These days he spends a fair amount of time in the sun with Trouble, the female cat of the house.
