Well today didn't go as planned. I had a family lunch that ended up being a family shopping day. I just got home, 2 hours late for Hermione's PM shot :(

497 @ PMPS, 2.2u given

On the up side, she's still in red, not black. I'm going to stick with the 2.2u one more cycle and get some more tests in tonight. Assuming she's still high, should I go up to 2.4u or 2.5u?

Ok, I was feeling like the absolute worst cat parent EVER! Yesterday I got roped into shopping with my family all day (ug!) and not only was hours late for her shot but didn't get any mid-cycle tests done. Then I fell asleep on the couch and forgot to make sure I set extra alarms since the next shot would be right in the middle of my sleepy-time so I got up at my normal time - 4 hours after she should have had her shot :banghead:

But she's at 166!!!! I gave her half a can of food and will recheck in two hours.

89 for PMPS!

Unfortunately I do have to work tonight :( I'm going to give her food and skip tonight. I'll be back at lunch to test, and if she's shootable I'll give her shot then.
 
Well, she's high, as expected. Why is she high and flat when I'm home, and gives a beautiful green when I have to work? Silly cat needs to stop checking my work schedule :p

511 for PMPS +7. I gave her 2.2u along with the other half can of food. I'm setting the extra alarm now, I'd better not sleep through AMPS again!
 
Well, I slept through my alarm again :banghead:

195 5 1/2hrs after she should have gotten her AM shot!

I'm not sure what to do now. Should I give her a reduced dose? Or should I feed & stall?
 
It's 5.5 hours since normal shot time? If you can work with the schedule 12 hours from now, go ahead and give a shot. If not, maybe shoot a little early tonight - around +8. That might make your amps shootable at the regular time?

Yes, this is when I would normally give her insulin. Should I reduce the dose or stick with the 2.2u? I'm about to recheck her and will post the result
 
248 after 2hr stall.

The earlier shot times yesterday and today were from her being low when I would normally give her insulin and stalling until she had a shootable number. So this will be 18 hours since her last insulin.

Last time 2.1u wasn't quite enough for purple, but I'm wondering if it would work for mid-yellow? I'm home tonight to monitor & test.
