Her numbers?

She is doing good but i still dont have the numbers where she should be. sometimes i giver her extra food because she is out,is it possible im giving her double the carbs by over feeding and thats why her numbers are high?

What are you feeding her?

Cats that are unregulated tend to need to eat more because they can't utilize the nutrients properly.

Are you home testing? What are the numbers you are getting?

Yes home testing,low to mid 200' s at times,i feed her right before her lantus shot in am,lantus usually peeks 6-8 hrs,so when the 6 hrs is coming up if she is out of fancy feast classics,ill give her maybe half a can or so ,or should i not feed her extra

It's OK to feed her.... Just no food 2 hours prior to the preshot test. How many units is her shot? You may want to post for dosing advice on the lantus forum.... They will tell you to set up a signature and spreadsheet to help you determine the best dose.
