Lovebug improved over the weekend and was able to come home yesterday. My vet still thinks its possible some of the tumor still may remain deeper in the vestibular portion of ear canal. He had a steroid shot and for now its wait and see. If his symptoms worsen the vet school can remove any tumor remaining probably but I don't know if we would want to put him through that and it would be costly.
For now hes doing really well, walking straighter and head tilt is much improved, he still tilts it when he tries to drink his water so we are adding water to his food to make "soup". He eating like a champ, using his litter box, jumping in everyone's laps for pets and to headbutts and seems to be feeling good. He even visited with the physical therapist and seems real interested in everyone coming and going. Hes really friendly to everyone. His eye is looking a lot better too.

Angela, you might look for popposgirl over on Health and post some encouragement. The kitty may have a nasty ear infection or a tumor. He is also new to diabetes.
