Hello everyone! Hendrick celebrated his one-year OTJ anniversary on June 22nd, 2023! I was off camping so I am making a belated thread. Here is a recent video of Hendrick (with a bit of a photobomb by Chester) Much thanks to @Suzanne & Darcy , @tiffmaxee , @Diane Tyler's Mom and so many more. Couldn't have done it without you all. A debt I can never fully repay indeed. Dammit, where's that tissue box.

Wow. One year! So awesome. CONGRATULATIONS to Hendrick. He is obviously doing great, judging by his performance on the wheel You deserve so much credit for this, Kyle. I'm glad we "met" via FDMB, although I'm sorry Hendrick was diabetic to begin with.

Well, I am sure you are doing everything you can for him to keep his quality of life up. 13 years is still a good long life for many cats --- I had a cat named Rygel, one of my best buddies of all time -- and he died at 9 years old out of the blue one night, totally healthy one minute, dead the next at 1am on a Friday. Ugh I cant think about that!

Nice work Kyle. I've seen some truly odd things here over the years; a member in complete denial with sky high numbers, a now disgraced vet who didn't believe in insulin and sadly a former member who was borderline Munchausen by proxy. Some new members spend days crying, some jump into the deep end and just deal with it. It's not a tragedy, it's just an inconvenience. Here's to many more years on the wheel for Hendrick.
