Hope all has gone okay at the vets. I know I mentioned it earlier but did he stop eating when he went on insulin? Sky stopped when we changed and increased insulin - as soon as I put her back on a different one she was fine.

Sometimes medication doesn't agree with them. If there are no other issues I would seriously consider that it could be his insulin.

Please update us when you can.

We are back home $200 lighter. Th vet was a joke. Sh was fishing for $1000 bill and totally dismissed me when i refused to have him admitted. We got a shot of anti nausea and subq. This morning i was able to give him the shot but he is still mopping around. Definitely better than last night. He clocked at 660 at 1 am. His come down this morning.

It would help us a lot if you put all the BG numbers you've collected on thew spreadsheet. It's the first thing we look at when we offer advice. Keep a close eye on your kitty. The antinausea shot and sub Q fluids have probably made him feel better for now. If his appetite isn't great feed him any food he'll eat. Not eating is worse than BG going higher because of high carb food. Do you ever test his urine with ketone test strips? Look back up at Post #11. This is very important if a kitty isn't eating, is dehydrated and has high BG.
