I had to work extra late last night so I didn't shoot until 11p. The boys got me up at 9a this morning and shot at 9:30 because I wanted to get him back closer to the usual hour to shoot. AMPS was 340 and shot .8, I think. At +6 he was 395. I say, I think, because I'm doubting that I actually gave him insulin! The number surprised me since he usually drops below 50%. Then I had the sensation that I don't remember shooting. I know I figured out how much, but from that point ? . So what is my next step. I can't believe I did this to my fur baby! nailbite_smile I feel really bad right now  .
Thanks

I'd just figure it was like a fur shot and wait till the next preshot time (unless it would be helpful to shoot an hour early - if he is sure rising by then)

Thank you, Sue for getting back so fast. You are amazing! Okay, I will wait until normal shoot time. Should I adjust his insulin to help bring down his BG if it is higher than he has been?

If we look back over the spreadsheet, the cycles that look the best are 1.2 units. I think I would try that on the reds and pinks, maybe one unit on 200s?

I was a little surprised that Tommy's PMPS was only 360 after 12 hours. :?: He actually went down from his nadir. Is this common or a fluke? I expected him to be in the 400's. Shot the recommended 1.2
I am home tomorrow again so I will get his nadir. I definitely shot tonight. Thanks!

That's a nice number! The dose may turn out to be a little light, but remember, this is data collection so you are just figuring out what a given dose does on a given number. If it doesn't give you a nice nadir, then you'll know to give a little more next time on a 200. If he has a lovely nadir, then you'll know to try it again next time.

I like yellow - looks good on Tommy!
