Help with reading ketones (On Call dual reader, UK based)

Hello, as recommend I bought a ketone meter to test Loki's blood alongside with the keto-diastix.

I've used it for the first time just now and the number reads 2.6 mmol/L but his keto-diastix are showing are the negative colour .

I've no idea how to read this meter I'm quite worried.

Does anyone have this meter? What are the ideal/safe/dangerous numbers?

There is information here on what the readings should be for Blood Ketone Meters.

With blood ketone meters, they start to show up at 2.4 to 2.55.

You may want to contact your vet and ask.

That is strange that 2.6mmol/L on the meter, is showing negative on the urine Test. The only explanation is that the urine has been in the bladder for a while and the ketones have formed more recently.
I would definitely contact the vet and try and get another urine sample and test.
A reading of 2.6 on the meter is of concern.
