? Help with micro-dosing

Would love advice on how to get "accurate" 0.1u dose. Ive been just giving it my best.
0.25u and 0.1u seem hard to confidently differentiate!

I have u-100 3/10cc syringes with half unit markings.
Looking for a method that doesnt include solely eyeballing it, if anyone has any advice!
 
One thing you can try (and then compare it to what you've been doing)

Push the plunger of the syringe in HARD....then insert it into the insulin and just "let go".....there's a vacuum that will pull a tiny amount into the syringe

I found that gave me about one drop of insulin, which is more like 'some insulin' as opposed to 0.1 at least for me.

The method I used for 0.1 was to measure out 0.25u with some coloured liquid, then see how many drops are in 0.25u, do this a few times ( I got about 4 to 5 drops with 0.25u) so then I would eyeball 0.25u and then squeeze out 2 drops, so that gave me approx 0.12u. (2-3drops)

You'll need to do this yourself to determine how many drops in your dose of 0.25u, it's not important that it's the same as what I got, just that you are consistent with what you have been doing.

try not to get hung up on the pictures.... as long as you are consistent with what you give.

back when I was microdosing, I had done the count of drops in my syringe. I found that giving 0.1 meant nothing came out of my syringe so I went back up a bit so that a drop was coming out. It's a lot of experimentation....
 
When I was micro dosing I ended up using calipers and a magnifying glass. It drove me crazy trying to rely on the lines on the syringe which were all over the place!
Just give a shout if you want to try that method. There are a lot of us who have used calipers to help get a consistent micro dose
