Oh it IS funky isn't it! OK, let's fix it but you'll have to do it so here's how:
Delete all the lines starting at line 60 all the way to the last one with lines around it. To do that:
* Click on the 60 row line to the far LEFT to highlight the whole line
* Scroll down to the very LAST line (about 365-ish) that has borders
* Hold down SHIFT and click the row line number of that last row - it will highlight all those bad lines
* RIGHT click in the highlighted area and choose DELETE ROWS - if it asks 'Are you Sure', say Yes
Now you should see the 'add lines' button with a box to it's right.
* Change that number to 20 (mine defaults to 1000) and click 'Add lines'. New lines will appear but they won't be formatted yet
* Click in COLUMN A (date column) of line 59
* Hold down SHIFT and click in the 'comments' cell on that same line - that should highlight the whole line.
* Ctrl/C to copy (google doesn't like the 'copy' command on the menus)
NOW drop down to line 61, the first new line added.
* Click in the first cell (Column A)
* Hold down SHIFT and click in the 'Notes' column (wide one) of the LAST line - this highlights the whole new area
* RIGHT click in the newly highlighted area - a submenu will appear
* Choose 'Paste Special' - another submenu will appear
* Choose 'Paste Format Only' - you'll see borders appear
Click anywhere else in the spreadsheet to get rid of the highlights and VOILA! DONE!
This sounds complicated but it took longer for me to type this than it will take you to actually do it. Tag me if you have question!
