Help please! Rocky in high number PS

Rocky's absolutely crazy for food so decided to feed and shoot a skinny 1u.
I really don't know what happened today with his numbers, he was doing so well!
We didn't have any green numbers so maybe not a bounce and maybe there was a problem with the injection AM. Sometimes I think he should have longer needles as these ones are very short and Rocky is quite plump and has thick skin.
Anyway I don't know and if you guys have any thoughts on this I would be much obliged to hear from you.

Might have been a bit of a fur shot or the "oh look, a squirrel" syndrome - anything that might have upset their day from another cat outside to a big poop or no poop. Regardless, it is only one number. I'd just see how it looks tomorrow and not worry unless you see a pattern.
 
Hi Marlena, I agree with Sue that, disappointing as these numbers may seem (given Rocky's recent history), this is 'only one number'... ;)

I do wonder if Rocky may have dropped low during the latter part of yesterday's PM cycle. But, we just don't know...

Sometimes a cat's numbers will spike up high and we just never know the reason....
If this turns out to be just a 'one off' then I'd suggest that you just chalk it down to experience. After all, sometimes sh*t happens for no apparent reason. But if it isn't a one off, and higher numbers suddenly become a bigger part of the picture then it would be good to find out the reason 'why'....

Let's see what tomorrow brings.... :cat:
