Help not sure if I need emergency vet or can wait for regular vet

Zambi isn’t feeling well she’s had diarrhea today and got sick twice this evening/night. She has no appetite now. She ate a tiny bit after getting sick but even refused fish flavour and usually she gobbles that down. She won’t eat her treats which isn’t like her at all. She seems lethargic and not herself.
She did have a gastrointestinal issue a while back and was given anti nausea meds, and antibiotics. Not sure if it’s the same issue or something bigger. Wondering if I should take her to emergency vet or can wait for the regular vet in the am and hope they can get me in.
I haven’t fully updated my chart but do test regularly. Not sure if anyone can give advice.

Have you tested for ketones in the urine? Are you able to test for ketones tonight?
If not and she is lethargic, not eating and has vomited and had diarrhoea, I would take Zambi to the ER tonight.
I would not wait until the morning.
Please let us know how you get on.

I have not tested and have no way of testing tonight. She’s just laying in her bed sleeping. She just doesn’t seem herself at all I would say she’s lethargic.

She’s up and getting a drink of water now. The vet is 45 mins away and she hates being in the car. I just hate stressing her out more.

She might need fluids. Diarrhea and vomiting can make her dehydrated and that can make her feel lousy. And even affect her appetite.

Also ask for a prescription for Ondansteron and an appetite stimulant. Always useful.

They checked for ketones and there were none. They gave her an anti nausea medication and subcutaneous fluids. They sent her home with an appetite stimulant and said to go to my regular vet for full blood work as it would be cheaper than emergency hospital. She’s got an appt for 230 tomorrow. She came home and ate a little bit. I did not do her am shot as vet recommended skipping unless she was eating and the amount she did eat was not sufficient. She has not got sick again and no diarrhea. I think she has gone pee but I also have another cat in the house. I did test her around 1230 she was 16.7 so better than last night but still high. She ate her treat after so that’s better than yesterday too. She’s purring today which she wasn’t last night. She still seems unwell but letting her rest.

I have updated her spreadsheet. And moved the tabs over. We went in today and did a full blood work up and a full urinalysis. I will update when I have the results.
Zambi seems to be doing much better. She’s eating much better and hasn’t gotten sick since. Her diarrhea is gone and she seems more lively.
Could have been some gastrointestinal issue like last time. I’m just guessing. Hoping for good results. Thank you everyone for the help and supprt
