HELP!!!!!! Monkey's BG during the cycle is so high

Please see my monkey spreadsheet, his BG during the cycle is higher than AMPS.

I suspect I fail to inject insulin AGAIN, as I felt after injection his skin is a bit wet.

But I am really not sure, as I remember I have penetrate into the skin that the needle could not move laterally.

But what if I have ACTUALLY injected and his BG happens to be that high??? Could this imply some serious issue?

What can I do????

Might have been a fur shot. Am I reading your spreadsheet correctly, that you have done possible fur shots three mornings in a row? Or was it just yesterday and today?

I hope Monkey comes down soon. If he didn't get his injection this morning, that could definitely explain it. One other possibility is that he is bouncing from some low number you didn't see (try to get at least one nighttime test if you can-- some cats are full of surprises at night!). It's also possible that there's something else going on, but let's deal with the most likely explanations first.

Can you get at least one test tonight, to see if he's dropping then?

It is possible that I may have done fur shots TWO morning in a row, which are today and yesterday.

Please see the test I have done 20 minutes ago, it is 9 pm here in Hong Kong now. Monkey's BG is 505 ml/DL. Yes, I should have done more tests. The information is not enough.

And yes, I will do a night test at 12pm, thanks for your reminder : )

Sending prayers and positive thoughts for Monkey AND you Peter. I'm sorry I have no idea what to do for Monkey. Hopefully more help is on the way. I'm thinking about you and your little family. sighhhh I wish I was of more help.

Hi Peter! If you like, you can add (fur shot) to your AMPS/PMPS numbers to indicate you messed up, or (fur shot?) if you suspect but aren't sure. Or "FS". Might be easier to see glancing at your spreadsheet for Monkey.

Are you (carefully) checking to make sure the needle is going through the skin and not coming out the other side?
My girl is very fluffy and I usually can't see where I'm shooting so I will insert the needle and then gently tug upwards to see if there's resistance. If there is that's a pretty good indication that it's under the skin and not sitting in the fur.
