Hello Everyone,

I am looking for help re-homing my two cats. Re-homing my pets is something I never expected to do, so if you do not have anything helpful to say, please keep all negative comments to yourself. After a recent breakup and a career that involves shift work, my schedule is unpredictable and difficult to work around.

Both cats are neutered males and are up to date on their vaccines. The 6 year old cat was diagnosed with diabetes a few months ago. He eats hard glucosupport food and recieves 5 units of insulin 2x per day - following this treatment plan, his diabetes has stayed under control. My 1 year old cat does not have diabetes, but due to his close relationship with the older cat, I would like to try and re-home them together. The two of them are both very affectionate and have upbeat personalities. I am willing to re-home them separately if absolutely neccessary, but only after ensuring that the older diabetic cat has found a good forever family.

If you can recommend safe sites to post, know someone who would be interested in adopting them, or have any helpful advice, please message me. I would supply the new owner with the initial diabetes supplies, their litter boxes and food, and their cat tree (as they love it and it would make them feel safe).

Thank you in advance to anyone who could help make this difficult move a little easier.

I removed the GA. Good luck with the hunt for a new home. If you adopted the boys from a rescue - they'll often take them back. The shelter I worked at actually made you sign paperwork saying they had first dibs on getting the cats back if it doesn't work out.
