fwiw, any Californians out there might want to do their shopping at the affiliates today as today is the last day we can buy from sites like amazon.com without paying sales tax. july 1st we all get one more nail put in our coffin in this state :lol:

i heard a snippet that there were 6 other states being handed the same blow but i did not hear which states those are.

A Little late to the party, but I made it! Done and Bumped!! I don't know what I would have done had it not been for the FDMB and the wonderful friends I have made here. Tommy and I will be forever greatful to all of you.. :-D
 
Money is tight but I saw there is a $1/month option and I think I can swing that now that I finally have a steady job again (knock on wood).

I wondered though does it affect how much Rebecca gets based on how we pay? For instance do credit cards take a portion of the money, more than say debit cards or Paypal? Or is it all equal & doesn't matter?

I'd like to sign up for the way that gets the most of that tiny dollar to Rebecca!!!!

From Rebecca: no your payment form doesn't matter.

Joanna, I'm not absolutely certain, but I believe that if you go through the buttons, the fees is the same to Rebecca regardless of the method of payment. I may be wrong, but if there is a difference, it is minimal.

As a moderator and a long-time member and a subscriber to FDMB, I thank everyone who has donated or subscribed. I get an email from PayPal every month when my subscription is taken. When I see that email, I smile, knowing that I have done my part to support one of the most awesome places on the Internet.

And it is Rebecca keeping the site up, and all of you donating both money and time, that makes FDMB an awesome place!!
 
Just click SHOP at the top of any page, and you are taken directly to our affiliates page where you can click on the Amazon redirect or type in a search term in the Amazon box.

We may not have the Canadian Amazon affiliation much longer as it has been used so little in the last 3 years, Amazon wants to cancel it or CHARGE for it!

Thanks everyone who is helping out. We'll have no problem meeting our bills this month.

I apologize that I am not on much lately. I live in a new flood zone (secondary to forest fires last year) and we are in our rainy and thus flood season. Keeping me busy sandbagging and shoveling.
