Merry Christmas~
I stopped giving her Lactulose the day she pooped. Her appetite is back to normal now. Should I start giving her Lactulose again? I gave her 5ml. Should I reduce it to 2.5ml?
 
That’s way too much ! Is supposed to be 1ml twice a day in the food, when she unclogged herself she’ll can have diarrhea. Please lower the dose to 1 ml twice a day after she poops the first time, and lower it to once a day, and so on

maybe she knows I know I'm going to give her Lactulose and she just pooped. LOL.
I've been giving her antibiotics. when should I stop giving her tgat?

She has been going #2 on a daily basis now. But today her poo is on a darker side. sorry for the disgusting picture but is this color normal?

That can be from the residual of the stuff that was in her from the burst gland and antibiotic, Corky did the same for a couple of poop, as long as there’s no blood on it just dark the Vet told me it was normal it does not look hard, and good size, which is a good thing the Lactulose is working, I think maybe you can stop giving it for a couple of days to check that she can go on her own, remember when cats are on wet can food low carbs they do not poop every day, mostly every two, there’s no waste going into their digestive system they absorb all of the food
