Hey all,

I joined the forum on behalf of George, my 13yr old furry housemate who was diagnosed with diabetes a little over 3 weeks ago. His brother Timmy may also have some questions from time to time but for now, it's just us two.

We are from the UK but have lived in Finland for 3yrs. Hoping to learn, and get help & support as we try to cope during this difficult time.

Welcome to FDMB Stephen, George and Timmy. Love the avatar pic! Glad you found us but sorry you are dealing with the diabetes. The diagnosis of diabetes for our furry friends is a shock and overwhelming. The good news is that you have found a wonderful community with a wealth of information to share and all the support you need and/or want. Come join us over on the HEALTH forum and ask any and all questions you may have and we'll help you get through those difficult early days and on the path to better health for George and peace of mind for you and Timmy! :)
