apparently something is very wrong.
how can my insulin be suddenly overnight not working?
i just did a +2.almost5 219 after pmps 228. tom ALWAYS goes down quickly.
here's my day. i've never shot mid day before.

amps 310 1.5U not terribly unusual but a little high
+2 232 ok, he usually goes down faster but ok
+7 228 1U now i'm concerned...been out all day just came home..no he did'nt get into anything, i shot him becuase i don't want him hanging in these #'s and his +7 would be normal to high for his pmps at +12
+2.5 219
WTF?????

i really don't know what to do....i can try a different bottle of pzi, opened and used.
his last mid cycle tests were on the 16th..amps 310 +3.5 72 pmps 188

i'm confounded...

Wish I could help---I am sure the others will. THis stuff does get very confusing and frustrating. Do you have 2 open vials of insulin? If so, seems thee would be no harm in trying it.

My only input for you is that I used to try to do things that I felt had more "risk" during the day when I was there to watch H and/or test.

ok, i'm getting ready for his +5.5
btw his +3 was 192. it's just like he has'nt gotten 2 insulin shots today...like he's suddenly immune to it.
let's see what i get now..brb
+5.5 154

that's after 2 shots in less than 12 hours...totaling 2.5U and we can't get green.
fwiw, tom goes green every single time i test him mid cycle ...usually by +3
i am torn about giving him a micro dose tonight at +6 so he won't go 16 hours without a shot. i doubt he'll go any lower than this if i don't shoot.
