Hello! New to the board

Hi,
I just found out this morning that my 12 year old Siamese has diabetes. I am a Vet Tech and usually helping clients deal with their pets, but today I am a client I have diabetes also but do not take insulin. Max was put on insulin 2 Units every 12 hours. I am nervous that he may experience a low when I am at school. His first injection was done about 30 min ago.

I am so glad I heard about this board and I will be sharing this with my clients too!
