My name is Cindy and my cats name is Cookie-she was diagnosed in January but luckily we are able to keep her sugar down with diet and exercise-I check her glucose in the afternoon every day. I completely removed dry food from her diet, very hard as I have seven other cats.... but she gets only wet food. Royal canine Glycobalance, she loves it but I have to mash the morsels. I am looking for a good treat for her, any suggestions would be great. I do currently have Lantus pens available if anyone interested. Thank you! Welcome! Good treats... Freeze dried meat (such as purely fancy feast), chicken, catnip, Bonito flakes, cat grass, anything low carb

I had a couple of free samples of air dried Ziwi Peaks in my cupboard. I've been using those as treats since Avery's diagnosis.

Treats for Maji is ZIWIpeak air dried ANY one of them AND most recently Feline Natural New Zealand lamb and chicken feast freeze dried - she just loves these treats only gets them with testing and shots... makes her very receptive...
