Hi everyone!

Gypsy was diagnosed last week with feline diabetes and I'm so glad I found the FDMB, this looks like suche a helpful ressource!! Right now her blood sugar is still quite high and she's hungry all the time (moving from free-feeding for 16 years to twice daily meals has not been a pleasant experience)! But overall, she's being so sweet and brave and being a good girl about getting her ears pricked.

Welcome! This is indeed a wonderful resource. Gypsy is lovely. Explore the info and stickies (yellow tags) it's a good start.
 
Welcome! Many of us feed more than twice a day. I feed four times. The AAHA guidelines (link in my signature) speak of dividing the food up into multiple meals.
 
Welcome! You can feed more than twice a day just no food 2 hours prior to the preshot test. If you have any questions please write on the main health forum.
